You are requested to ring the surgery to obtain results of any tests that have been organised for you. If results are abnormal, your doctor will require you to make an appointment to enable these to be discussed with you.

Our friendly reception will make every effort to accommodate your preferred time and GP. Emergencies are always given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay. An SMS reminder will be sent the day before. We invite you to call the surgery 30 mins prior to your appointment to see how the doctor is running.

Longer consultations are available, so please ask our receptionists if you require some extra time. Referrals and prescriptions will not be issued without prior consultation with a doctor.

As a courtesy to the doctor and other patients, please give as much notice as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment. Three missed appointments without explanation may mean you will not be offered appointments in advance in the future.

For advice and healthcare after hours, phone 1300 130 147. GP Access After Hours provides telephone advice to help you decide what to do, and if you need to see a GP. You will be directed to Greenhills after hours service, the nearest clinic in Maitland/Newcastle or John Hunter Hospital.

We will happily send through a health summary along with most recent pathology or specialist letters free of charge. If a complete medical record is requested, a fee may apply.
